The house is a beautifully restored farmhouse at the foot of Monte Subasio. The ground floor originally served as a stable for the farm animals. Both the lower and upper floors have independent access from the ground level. The upper floor has been converted into a comfortable holiday apartment.
You will enjoy a spacious and comfortably equipped holiday apartment, surrounded by a garden with a lawn, a large terrace and a balcony, offering plenty of space to relax in complete peace while taking in the beautiful panoramic views.
From the apartment you have a direct view of Monte Subasio, the mountain where Saint Francis of Assisi retreated in the early 13th century.
The apartment provides direct access to long-distance hiking trails and pilgrimage routes, including paths leading across the medieval Ponte Marchetto bridge and through the scenic gorge located on our private estate.
The historic town of Assisi is only a 15-minute drive away. From Etruscan and Roman heritage to the rich medieval history for which the region is famous, centuries of culture are always within easy reach.

The accompanying terrain consists of 3 hectares, of which 2 hectares are forest at the transition to the gorges. It exists of an olive grove and small vineyard. In addition, a diverse fruit orchard, a vegetable garden and fields of Mediterranean herbs for the production of essential oil are created. Everything is grown organically and in harmony with nature.
Even before the beginning of the Christian era, the Etruscans are believed to have practised a sustainable and integrated form of agriculture. According to tradition, grapevines were grown alongside field maples, as it was believed that this natural combination contributed to the health and vitality of the vines. This ancient way of farming reflects the remarkable understanding of nature that the Etruscans already possessed more than two thousand years ago.
This traditional method of vine cultivation can still be seen in our small vineyard, where it has been preserved and partly restored by previous owners. We would be delighted to show you this unique connection between history and nature during your stay.
